Nadia Mohamed

Nadia works at the intersection of storytelling and social justice and often makes media about people, places, power, and perceptions. Whether working in documentary or fiction, she aims to humanize underrepresented characters, communities, and social issues through resonant storytelling. With DFA, she will workshop her first narrative short script.  She is an MFA candidate in the Integrated Media Arts Program at Hunter College, and works at the Center for Story-based Strategy, a national movement-building organization dedicated to harnessing the power of narrative for social change.
