Committed to social justice, education and the arts, Kelly has been working in non-profits arts and education and producing short films since 1998. 

Her films examine class, gender, women's roles and urban anxieties, especially in relationship to our increasingly frenetic lifestyles. Her work has screened nationally and internationally and won various awards. Several of her film projects have received support from the Queens Council on the Arts, The New York State Council on the Arts, Yaddo, and she was a New York Foundation on the Arts Fellow.
